You already have SMART Board installed at your school and now you must learn how to use SMART Board. In this part of the self-study guide you will learn how to download SMART Notebook software and understand the basic features of the software.

Practical Activity:
Use these steps to practice your new SMART Notebook skills:
- Open a new smart notebook
- Type a heading for your
first page
- Change the page back
ground colour
- Add a new page
- Use the pen to write
three points down on this page
- Change the handwriting
to text
- Add bullets
- Add a new page
- Add 3 different objects
and change their properties to have different line and fill colours.
- Clone one object once,
the next twice and the last three times.
- Group each set of objects
- Add a new page
- Search the gallery for a
subject related picture and add it to you page.
- Resize the object and
rotate it to the right
- Add another page and add
a 3D object and rotate it.
- Open a new smart notebook
