    Knowing how technology works is important, however,  it is even more important that you feel equipped and confident enough to use technology to enhance your teaching and the learner experience. This unit will refresh the knowledge that you gained in the face to face workshop and also help you to create some useful documents that you can use in your classroom.

    By the end of the lesson you should be able to the following:

    • The assessment activity for this unit encourages you to get in touch with your creative side and also helps you to revise the main points you need to remember about Microsoft Word. Now that you have been through this unit you are feeling confident that you can share your new found knowledge with other teachers at your school.


      1. Use the forum below to discuss any issues arising from the lesson about word processing with your peers
      2. Make a summary of the information that you would include on the flyer 
      3. Your invitation needs to have the following: an attractive image, date, venue, summary of what you will be covering in your workshop) 
      4. Open Microsoft Word
      5. Choose a flyer template
      6. Insert your details
      7. Save your document onto your computer
      8. Use the upload function below to upload your flyer
